How do I get my photos to you?
It depends on what form your photos/images are in. If all the photos you want in your DVD album are digital (stored on your computer), you can zip them all into one file and send by email attachment. Or, you can send them on a CD or DVD-R by snail mail. If you have physical photos, of course, you will need to mail them. You should use USPS delivery confirmation and pack carefully to avoid damage.
What are your prices?
Prices are posted for different services, however, we can work with you on a personal one-on-one basis to meet your needs. Prices depend mainly on whether your photos will need to be scanned (the costliest, most time-consuming service) or if your photos are already in digital format. No matter which service you need, all photos must be in digital format before work can begin.
What format do my images need to be in?
If your images are already in digital format, the formats accepted are .jpeg, .gif or .png. These are the three most common formats. The higher resolution, the better your album will turn out. Image that are too small will automatically be enlarged to show better on a TV screen, but if they are too small to start with, they may show some distortion. A 5 megapixel digital camera takes photos with a resolution of about 2500 pixels x 1700 pixels. If you plan to take photos (wedding, birthday party etc.), be sure to set your camera's resolution to the highest quality setting.
How long will it take to get my album?
This will depend on how much work has to be done, especially if your photos have to be scanned. Most albums can be done in one week or less. We strive for perfection as much as possible and will do your album over if we see one tiny thing that can be improved. Please be aware that we can get busy during the holiday season, so please inquire about turnaround time if your DVD album will be a gift.
